South Alabama basketball coach Richie Riley has not yet been on the job a month, but he's begun shaping the Jaguars' program to fit his lofty vision.
The new Jaguars head man has already put his players through informal offseason workouts, is currently putting together a staff, and on Wednesday began the first spring signing period of his tenure in Mobile. Riley, who comes to South Alabama after a successful two-year run at Nicholls State, spoke to Randy Kennedy and me in an interview on "Sports Drive" on WNSP-FM 105.5 in Mobile.
Riley said he has half of his four-man staff in place, having brought assistant Amorrow Morgan and director of basketball operations Tyler Parker with him from Nicholls State.
