SECOND HALF GOAL LIFTS TROY TO SHUTOUT WIN OVER SOCCER

MOBILE, Ala. – Troy scored off a corner kick in the 57th minute and held on to blank the University of South Alabama soccer team 1-0 Friday afternoon at The Cage.

The regular season has concluded for both teams, who now advance to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. The Trojans improve to 5-13-1 and 4-6, and the Jaguars fall to 7-9-1 overall and 5-4-1.

GAME FACTS
- South Alabama doubled up Troy in shots 18-9 but Troy held the edge in shots on goal 5-3
- In a quiet first half, the Jags outshot the Trojans 7-4 with the two teams combining for three shots on target
