The 5-foot-11, 175-pound senior signed with Southern Mississippi on Wednesday after de-committing from South Alabama earlier this week.
"I just felt more comfortable at Southern Mississippi," Flott told AL.com. "It is no disrespect to any other school. South Alabama has a great staff, and I loved dealing with those guys. I thought Southern Miss was just a little better fit for me. I can get away from home and kind of become my own man, and that was important to me.
