RALLY COMES UP SHORT FOR MEN’S BASKETBALL AT ULM

MONROE, La. – The University of South Alabama men's basketball team cut a 24-point deficit down to four in the second half but suffered a late shooting slump in an 83-74 loss to UL Monroe Saturday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

USA junior Rodrick Sikes set a new career high with 38 points – 26 in the second half – and hit seven 3-pointers, and senior Dederick Lee also set a new personal best with 15 points on five triples. Sophomore Josh Ajayi grabbed a career-best 14 rebounds.
