Two players with Alabama football roots helped the Toronto Argonauts defeat the Calgary Stampeders 27-24 on Sunday night to win the 105th Grey Cup in Ottawa.

Defensive back Qudarius Ford (South Alabama) made a team-leading eight tackles and linebacker Bear Woods (Troy) had four tackles as Toronto won the Canadian Football League's championship game.

Ole Miss alumnus Cassius Vaughn returned a fumble 109 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter as Toronto tied the game 24-24. Lirim Hajrullahu's 32-yard field goal with 53 seconds to play provided the margin of victory for the Argos.
