MOBILE, Ala. – Peter Staalbo and Drew Cooke both posted sub-par rounds and earned top-20 finishes Tuesday to lead the University of South Alabama men's golf team on the final day of the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate.
Staalbo carded a score of 1-under-par 71 — the third time in two days he shot below par at the event — to place second in the individual standings while Cooke had the squad's low round over the final 18 holes with a 2-under-par 70 en route to a tie for 17th. Daniel Jansen recorded an even-par 72 as well while Brooks Rabren supplied a 74, helping the Jaguars move up one spot in the team standings after a group score of 287 on the last day of the tournament.
