BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's and women's track and field programs completed competition at the Jaguar Invitational Sunday evening. Rickssen Opont bested his performance from last weekend breaking his previous record in the shot put with a mark of 17.35m, the distance is also good enough for the Indoor National Haitian record. Harry Barthelemy earned a new personal record in the high jump (2.06m) tying the previous indoor program record set by Chris Johnson in 2005. Carolien Millenaar also ran her way into the Jaguar record books in the 5000m run (17:16.
