LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 3 Texas Tech swept a doubleheader from 11th-ranked University of South Alabama baseball Saturday at Rip Griffin Stadium.
TTU (12-0) took game one of the doubleheader 14-2, and won the second game 5-2 to take a 3-0 lead in the weekend series.
South Alabama (7-3) will return to action Sunday when it faces Texas Tech at 1 p.m. in the series finale.
