SAN MARCOS, Texas – The No.3-seeded University of South Alabama volleyball team fell in five sets (26-24, 21-25, 17-25, 30-28, 10-15) to UT-Arlington in the quarterfinal round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament at Strahan Coliseum.
South Alabama (20-11) earned 20 wins in the regular season, including a program-record 15 home wins at Jag Gym. The Jags' 20 victories are the most by a South Alabama team since the 1989 squad won 23 matches.
