TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – No. 1 seed Florida State hit six home runs in an 18-6 win over the third-seeded University of South Alabama baseball team to clinch the NCAA Tallahassee Regional Sunday at Dick Howser Stadium.
FSU (40-20) recorded 19 hits in the game, led by Dylan Busby who went 3-for-6 with a double, two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored.
South Alabama (42-22) jumped out to a one-run lead in the bottom of the first inning on a leadoff solo home run by Travis Swaggerty – his fourth of the season – to right field.
