MOBILE, Ala. – A total of 18 University of South Alabama student-athletes were honored Sunday when the school conducted its virtual graduation ceremony recognizing fall graduates.
Half of the group — which was comprised of individuals from seven different sport programs — earned all-Sun Belt Conference accolades during their careers: Kory Dixon, Tabea Griss and Athanasia Moraitou with the soccer team, Savannah Jones and Antoinette Lewis from women's basketball, men's and women's track and field performers Javen Jackson, Shay Lee and Migael Strydom, and Jacob Shoemaker with football.
Four other members of the football team were recognized Sunday as well, with Conner Estes, Kwameh Lewis, Frankie Onate and Patrick Rosette all earning their undergraduate degrees this fall.
