MOBILE, Ala. | Leif Moore picked up his first win of the season and Joseph Sullivan had a career day to lead South Alabama to a 13-0 non-conference victory over Southern at Stanky Field on Tuesday night.
Moore (1-0) got his first start of the season and picked up the win, working 5.0 innings and allowing just one hit and striking out nine. The junior was one of four pitchers used in the contest along with Jacob Bruning, Seth Carter, and Caden Homniok combined to keep Southern (9-18) off the scoreboard for the final two innings.
