The Mobile City Council's vote on a proposal for funding for The University of South Alabama's new stadium won't happen Tuesday after all.
District 2 Councilman Levon Manzie joined me and Lee Shirvanian on "The Opening Kickoff" on WNSP-FM 105.5 to discuss the proposal to allocate $10 million over 20 years to South Alabama's project.
"No," Manzie said when asked if he expects a vote Tuesday at the city council meeting. "To my knowledge no, it may be assigned to committee."
Manzie said "I'm wanting it to pass at this time," but didn't commit to voting one way or the other.
