STARKVILLE, Miss. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team (15-9 captured its first NCAA Tournament win in 10 with a 4-3 victory over the No. 21 Memphis Tigers in the first round Friday in Starkville. The program's last NCAA Tournament victory came on May 10, 2008, over Alabama 4-3 in Tallassee, Fla.

- Sacha Modica and Olivier Gingras kicked things off on court 2 with a 6-2 victory over Kai Lemke and Marshall Sullivan.
