MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team won all four singles matches in straight sets Saturday at the Southern Miss Invitational.
Against the University of New Orleans, freshman Clement Marzol (Toulouse, France) dropped Federico Staksrud 6-3, 6-4 and sophomore Lucas Gonzalez (Chateauroux, France) bested Federico Boscarino 6-2, 6-4. Junior Oliver Gingras (Quebec City, Quebec, Canada) defeated Giacomo Adoncecchi 6-3, 6-4 and senior Pierre Noyon (Oye-Plage, France topped Nicolas Kramer 6-3, 6-3.
"The guys were able to focus in the afternoon and took care of business, winning all singles matches," said USA head coach Nick Brochu.
