MOBILE, Ala. — The University of South Alabama men's tennis team fell 3-4 to the Georgia State Panthers in a match that came down to the wire on Sunday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
The Jaguars were up 3-2 on Georgia State with two matches heading into the third and decisive set. Sacha Modica on court one and Maxime Lapraille on court four battled back to get it there. Both players lost the first set, and won the second set to force the winner-take-all third set. When Modica fell on court one, Lapraille was down 1-3 to his opponent.
