MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama Director of Athletics Joel Erdmann announced on Friday that Alexis Meeks-Rydell has submitted her resignation as head volleyball coach, effective immediately.
In two seasons in charge of the Jaguars, Meeks-Rydell guided the program to an overall record of 28-25 with an 18-14 mark in Sun Belt Conference action; that included going 20-11 overall and 11-5 in the league in 2019.
"We appreciate Alexis' service on behalf of the University and wish her the best moving forward," Erdmann said.
A national search will begin immediately for Meeks-Rydell's replacement.
