MOBILE, Ala. – Left-hander Tyler Lehrmann combined with three Jaguar relievers to lead the University of South Alabama baseball team to a 9-0 shutout win over Appalachian State in Sunday's series finale at Stanky Field.
Lehrmann (2-1) faced the minimum through five innings, and allowed just two hits with five strikeouts against two walks in seven innings pitched to earn his second win of the season. Left-hander Eli Runyan, and right-handers Collin Brougham and Grant Wood combined for the final two innings to aid in the Jags' second shutout of the weekend and third of the week.
