LAFAYETTE, La. | Olivia Lackie and Mackenzie Brasher were each named to the Reveal Suits Sun Belt Conference Championship all-tournament team on Saturday for their play at the championship event this past week.
The all-tournament selection is the second of Brasher's career, as she also earned the honor at the 2021 tournament. The Jags have now had at least one player selected to the SBC all-tournament team each of the past three seasons and a total of 25 since 2009.
After helping South Alabama (39-14) reach the semifinal round, Lackie recorded a complete-game victory, striking out 10 against James Madison in the quarterfinal round.
