NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama track and field programs claimed both Sun Belt Conference Field Athlete of the Week awards, as announced Thursday afternoon by the league office.
Senior Autavia Fluker and redshirt freshman Francois Prinsloo were recognized as the Sun Belt's Field Athletes of the Week after their stellar performances at the Southeastern-Conference Tune Up last Saturday.
Fluker has received the award for the third time this season, while Prinsloo has been honored twice with the award this season.
Senior Fluker was astounding at the Southeastern-Conference Tune Up as she broke her SBC record in the hammer throw for the third time this season with her 67.
