MOBILE, Ala. - South Alabama closed out the tournament strong, with the third round being their best. The Jags gained a position on Tuesday to finish their hosted tournament in 11th place.
Freshman Tim Kretschmann surged up the leaderboard in the final day, going five-under in the third round to secure a three-under total and tie for 20th place (73-71-66–210). Senior Kevin Dahlberg also tied for 20th after swinging three under in his final two rounds (74-68-68–210)
South worked out of a hole early, with a +7 opening round that led to the Jags clawing back under par over the final two rounds.
