MOBILE, Ala. – The Jags rallied in the fourth quarter, but Arkansas State proved to be too much for South, as the Jags dropped their seventh straight game of the season, 63-47.
Maggie Robinson paced the Jags with 13 points, her first time this season leading South in that category. Nadia Howard recorded eight boards, her third time leading the team this season in rebounding.
The Red Wolves had three players record double-figures and were led by Lauryn Pendleton, who recorded a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
South Alabama (4-14, 0-7 Sun Belt) stays at home through the weekend, hosting Texas State Saturday.
