MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama had two double-figure scorers, but Sun Belt newcomer James Madison proved to be too much for the Jaguars, as South dropped their third-straight contest, 72-54.
Freshman Kelsey Thompson paced South with 20 points, her third 20-point game of the season. The game was the eighth time she's lead South in that category. Kiana Anderson totaled 12 in the contest, her ninth double-figure game.
Thompson and Anderson totaled five boards each, with Michiyah Simmons recording four.
The Dukes had three double-figure scorers and were led by Kiki Jefferson, who recorded a double-double (22 points and 14 rebounds).
