MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama dropped another weekend series after losing both games of a double-header to Louisiana on Saturday, 22-5 and 10-6, at Eddie Stanky Field.
After going ahead, 2-1, after two innings in the first game, the Jags (9-15, 1-5 Sun Belt) were unable to get much going, and the Ragin' Cajuns (18-7, 5-1 SBC) scored 11 unanswered runs to pull away.
Game two was tied after five innings, 6-6, but the Cajuns scored in the top of the sixth when Kyle DeBarge beat the throw home on an RBI fielder's choice from Heath Hood and never looked back.
