ATLANTA, Ga. | South Alabama women's tennis closed out their regular season slate with a 4-1 road win over Georgia State, finishing the regular season 17-5 and 7-4 in Sun Belt action.
South started the day with an automatic doubles win at number three due to a forfeit from Georgia State.
The Panthers evened the doubles score with a win at number one doubles, where Michelle Ncube and Pragnya Kumar beat Luminita Tutunaru and Tereza Dejnozkova 6-3.
South claimed the doubles point with a 6-3 win from Elysia Pool and Nikola Novotna, beating Alexia Alvarez and Maria Paredes of Georgia State.
