MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama got back in the win column Saturday, beating Coastal Carolina 4-3 to break a 12-match winning streak for the Chanticleers in 2023.
South Alabama got the first win in doubles play with a win at number one, where the Jaguar duo of and got a 6-1 win over Coastal Carolina's Anna Babayan and Megan Hpoton.
South secured the doubles point with a 6-2 win at number three, where and beat Jesse Hollins and V. De Samucewicz.
In singles, South won first sets on three courts while Coastal claimed the other three.
