CONWAY, S.C. – Casey Ferguson totaled 11 points, but the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina proved to be too much for South Alabama, as the Jags dropped their sixth straight game, 69-44.
It was the second time this season scoring in double figures for Ferguson, and the first time leading South Alabama in that category. The Chanticleers had three players in double figures, and were led by Arin Freeman, who totaled 17 points.
South Alabama (4-13, 0-6 Sun Belt) returns home to the Mitchell Center next week after two away, hosting Arkansas State Thursday and Texas State Saturday.
