Mobile, Ala. - The University of South Alabama women's basketball team has canceled its contest against Appalachian State that was originally scheduled for Thursday. Due to a combination of injuries and COVID-19 protocols both teams were unable to meet the requirement for healthy players.
According to Sun Belt Conference policy, the cancellation will be ruled a no-contest and will not be rescheduled.
The status of Saturday's game against Coastal Carolina will be determined at a later time.

Season Ticket Holders:
All 2021-2022 South Alabama Women's Basketball season ticket holders may redeem their unused tickets from Thursday's contest for additional tickets to any remaining home game on the 2021-2022 schedule via the "Never Waste a Ticket" program.
