MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama starting centerback Gabrielle Gayle has earned a call up from the Jamaica Football Federation to the senior-level Jamaican national women's soccer team for June international friendly matches.
This was the first national recall for Gayle since joining the Jaguar soccer program in the fall of 2020.
The Jamaican defender will be the first Jag to represent her nation at South Alabama since Athanasia Moraitou was recalled twice during Fall of 2020 to play for the Greek National Team.
Gayle was listed on the provisional list by the JFF for a pair of fixtures with Nigeria and the United States Soccer 2021 Women's National Team.
