NORFOLK, Va. – South Alabama women's soccer battled Old Dominion to a 2-2 draw Sunday afternoon in Norfolk, Va. South is now 6-1-5 on the year and is still undefeated in Sun Belt play.
The Monarchs went up 1-0 early in the match, when senior forward Carla Morich scored off a deflection of the left goal post in the 5th minute.
South replied with the equalizer goal in the 36th minute, when senior midfielder Gracie Wilson headed the ball into the box and fifth-year forward Danielle Fuentes put it in the back of the net.
