JACKSON, Miss. – South Alabama traveled to Jackson State and came away with a 3-0 win over the Tigers in an exhibition match Wednesday afternoon. The game was split into three 30-minute periods.
The scoring started early with Morgan Cross scoring in the second minute off an assist from Danielle Fuentes. The second goal came quickly after when defender Gabrielle Gayle scored off a corner from Gabriela Angulo. The teams battled back and forth for a majority of the match until Nour Imane Addi was able to score late in the match to extend the lead to 3-0.
