JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – South Alabama women's soccer secured their first shutout of the season, defeating Jacksonville State 4-0 Sunday afternoon. The Jags scored late in the first half, then scored three more unanswered goals to move to 2-0-0 on the season.
After a back-and-forth matchup for the first 30 minutes, Nour Imane Addi got the Jags on the board, scoring off an assist from Furman transfer Jasmine Greene. Greene then scored her first goal in a Jaguar uniform to extend the lead to 2-0 in the 35th minute. Scoring her second goal of the day, Greene added to South's lead, making it 3-0 in the 62nd minute of the match.
