BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the second-straight match, South Alabama Men's Tennis claimed victory in doubles, but failed to secure the match as Florida Atlantic earned a 5-2 victory Thursday morning.
The setback dropped South Alabama's record to 3-9 overall for the year.
"I'm very happy with the way we competed," said South Alabama head coach Nick Brochu. "Today was a battle. We had one goal, and that was to focus on fighting regardless of what the score is. We focused on every point, and that worked in doubles. In the end, we lost in singles, but I'm very satisfied with the way we competed.
