TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The University of South Alabama football program had its second individual receive preseason recognition in the last three days when Jamarius Way was included on the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List released by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc. on Thursday.
Way, a rising senior from Belle Glade, Fla., joins classmate Sean Grayer in consideration of a national award after the latter was announced as a nominee Tuesday for the 2018 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®.
The wide receiver started all but one outing for the Jaguars in 2017 — his first season with the program — while leading the team with 47 catches for 762 yards, three touchdown receptions and 799 all-purpose yards; he was chosen second-team all-Sun Belt Conference at the end of the year.
