Jags Tame Panthers in 3-1 Victory

Box Score ATLANTA, Ga.- The South Alabama soccer team notched a 3-1 victory over Georgia State Sunday afternoon.

The first half was a slow start for both sides, with defense being the theme of the half. The momentum would flip in favor of the Jags as Monique Gray connected with Irene Campo in the 38th minute to give South the 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

The Jags got hot in the second half as Monique Gray got her second assist of the day as she serviced a ball to Laurie-Ann Moise to give South Alabama the 2-0 lead.
