MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team swept Alabama State in straight sets (25-15, 25-15, 25-11) Tuesday at Jag Gym.
South Alabama (5-5) extended its winning streak to four games, and evened its overall record with the win. Alabama State fell to 3-9 on the season. USA will return to action this weekend when it travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to compete in the Crimson-White Invitational, hosted by Alabama. The Jaguars will face Alabama at 10 a.m. Friday morning, followed by a 5 p.m. contest with Southern Miss Friday afternoon.
