MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama baseball team rallied for a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Little Rock 9-8 in Sunday's series finale at Stanky Field.
With the score tied 8-8 through 7 ½ innings, Jaguar second baseman Dakota Dailey led off the bottom of the eighth with a single, and later scored the game-winning run from first with two outs on a throwing error by Trojan shortstop Christian Reyes to secure the three-game sweep.
South Alabama (25-22, 12-12 Sun Belt) will return to action Tue.
