The Jags picked up a pair of 7-0 wins over West Alabama to open the season, dropping just one doubles match in each of the two matches.
The Jags used wins at number two and three doubles in the opening match of the day to jump out to an early 1-0 lead led by a 6-0 victory by the number three team of Martin Bugaj and Javier Montoya.
