MOBILE, Ala.- The South Alabama women's tennis team will kick off their pre-season as they travel to Thomasville, Georgia to compete in the Thomasville Invitational.
Tournament play will begin Friday, September 6 and will end on Sunday, September 8.
South returns several quality players in Chems Doha Zeghlouli, Lara van der Merwe, Delien Kleinhans and Manal Ennaciri. The Jags welcome several newcomers with Cristine Tchancicheve, Jade Marie, and Rio Maeda.
South Alabama is coming off another successful season in which they went 16-5 overall while acheiving an 8-2 record in Sun Belt play.
