LAKE OCONEE, Ga. | South Alabama finished tied for 10th in a competitive field at the Linger Longer Invitational hosted by Kennesaw State and Mercer at the Great Waters Golf Course this week.
The Jags ended the tournament tied with Charlotte at 39-over par (903) after a final round 292 on Tuesday – their best round of the tournament. Alabama won the tournament title with a 14-under par (850), followed by Georgia Tech in second at 6-under par (858).
Jordan Plunkett was the top finisher for the Jags in individual play, shooting a 6-over (222) with a final round 71 to finish tied for 37th.
