MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team fell in four sets to Texas State (19-25, 15-25, 25-21, 15-25) Friday in a Sun Belt Conference match at Jag Gym.
USA (10-12, 4-5 Sun Belt) will return to action Saturday when it hosts UTA in a Sun Belt Conference match at 6:30 p.m. at Jag Gym.

- South Alabama jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the opening set before Texas State went on a 10-1 scoring run for an 11-4 advantage. A 3-0 Jaguar run later in the set that featured a kill from Alexis Silver and Kelley Hartman cut the Bobcat lead to 16-12.
