MIAMI – Despite starting the match strong by winning the doubles point, South Alabama Men's Tennis could not hold on in singles play as Miami won Tuesday's match by a score of 4-1.
The Jaguars' record moved to 3-8 in defeat.
"Today was a missed opportunity," said South Alabama head coach Nick Brochu. "We had Miami right where we wanted them. We came out and played some great doubles. We had the momentum, then the rain started and we had to stop play for about an hour, and when singles started, it was a different match.
