Jags Fall in Hard-Fought Match at UAB

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis dropped its second-straight match Monday afternoon after falling to UAB, 4-3.

The Jaguars' record fell to 2-3 for the year with the defeat.

"It was a better effort than yesterday, but still not enough," said head coach Nick Brochu. "We've got to be able to come together all at once. We've got to raise the bar, and it will start at practice for us. It's got to be more like a match with more intensity and more pressure."

After losing the doubles point, South Alabama moved to singles play where it pushed the Blazers and made them earn the victory.
