MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama hits the road for the second consecutive week, this week facing its first East Division school in Georgia Southern on Saturday.
The game is set for a 4 pm (ET)/3 pm (CT) kick from Allen E. Paulson Stadium in Statesboro (Ga.) and will be shown on ESPN+. The meeting is the ninth all-time between the two schools with Georgia Southern holding a 7-1 advantage, however, the Jags won the last meeting in Mobile in 2021.
The two teams are a pair of the highest scoring teams in the Sun Belt Conference entering Saturday with South Alabama (6-2, 3-1 Sun Belt) averaging 31.
