MOBILE, Ala. – With Alabama State holding a 3-2 lead, the match came down to two three-set contests, but South Alabama Men's Tennis could not break through in both of them as the Hornets held on to claim a 4-3 victory.
The loss dropped the Jaguars to 2-4 on the season.
After dropping the doubles point, South got two quick points as and made quick work of their opponents in straight sets. Raemdonck defeated his Alabama State Opponent 6-0, 6-4 while Accossatto earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
The third and final win of the day went to true freshman Adam Bouyacoub who had to fight his way back from a set down.
