SAN MARCOS, Texas – The University of South Alabama baseball team scored seven unanswered runs to defeat Texas State 9-4 Sunday at Bobcat Ballpark.
USA (26-17) avoided the three-game sweep and snapped a four-game losing skid with the win. Jaguar right-hander Jase Dalton tossed five scoreless relief innings, and allowed just one hit to earn the win.

South Alabama will return to action Fri., May 14, when it hosts Coastal Carolina at 6:30 p.m. at Stanky Field.
