HAMMOND, La. – The University of South Alabama baseball team scored nine runs over its final two innings to defeat Southeastern Louisiana 14-4 Tuesday at Alumni Field.
USA (26-22) hit four home runs in the game, led by Michael Sandle who went 2-for-6 with two home runs, three RBIs and two runs scored. Nick Lewis and Wells Davis also added one home run apiece in the Jaguars' 16-hit effort.
South Alabama will return to action Fri., May 10, when it travels to Boone, N.C., for a 5 p.m. (CT) Sun Belt Conference East Division contest with Appalachian State to open a three-game weekend series.
