MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama right-hander Matt Boswell allowed one run on one hit in 5 2/3 innings to lead the Jaguars to a 6-3 series-clinching win over Troy Friday at Stanky Field.
Boswell (2-0) struck out eight and issued two walks to record his second win of the season. He retired 13 of the first 14 batters he faced, and held Troy hitless through the first 5 2/3 innings of the game.
