NEW ORLEANS – Following a record-setting performance that helped lead the University of South Alabama to its first-ever win over Georgia Southern, Jake Bentley was voted the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week the league office announced on Monday.
That wasn't the only recognition the senior quarterback picked up over the weekend, as he was also named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week by College Sports Madness while receiving honorable mention National Performer-of-the-Week accolades from the College Football Performance Awards.
