NEW ORLEANS, La. | South Alabama returns to the field for the first time in 24 days when it hits the field at the Caesars Superdome on Wednesday night to take on Western Kentucky in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

South Alabama (10-2) closed out the regular season with their most successful season at the FBS level in the program's history, setting a new mark for wins and conference wins (7-1 in the Sun Belt). The Jags enter the game on a five-game winning streak, the longest of the season after a home win over Old Dominion to close out the regular season.
